200 Democratic lawmakers support a lawsuit seeking to prevent the dismantling of CFPB

More than 200 Democratic lawmakers in the House of Representatives submit a summary to support a lawsuit aimed at preventing the dismantling of the Consumer Protection Office (CFPB).

Democrats in the summary, which was submitted in the Washington Local Court, claim that President Trump’s efforts to weaken CFPB causes “great and irreversible” damage to consumers. They also argued that these procedures violate the law by disrupting the constitutional separation of the authorities.

“The order to stop the defendants will be severe consequences for the American people. Labor said that CFPB has achieved a resounding success.

Democrats also said in the summary that the president may differ with the laws enacted by Congress. “When this happens, the treatment is to participate in the political process and make a political proposal for Congress, as Congress is the only branch of the ruling that is enabled to set laws, and as appropriate here, legislation that would dismantle the legal created agency,” says the summary.

Representative Maxine Watermers (California), the largest democratic committee in the Financial Services Committee, leads the effort to cooperate with the leader of the minority in the House of Representatives Hakim Jeffrez (DN.Y.) and actors Joe Nigusi (D-COLO) and Jimmy Raskin (D-MD.).

So far, more than 200 Democrats in the Summary House of Representatives support.

Since Elon Musk’s artistic billionaire is trying to reduce the size of the federal workforce, CFPB Russell Fior has released many directives this month that suspended many agency’s operations.

After that, the Federation of National Treasury, which represents about 155,000 federal workers, filed a lawsuit against Vogue, saying that his actions were illegal.

This illiterate summary came from a working group created by Democrats in the House of Representatives recently to respond to the “damage” caused by the Trump administration.

In a speech issued on February 10, Giveres announced the formation of a quick -respondent business squad and the litigation group to strengthen “the continuous effort of the Democratic Party to decline against extreme right -wing extremism that unleash unleashing the American people.”

Earlier this month, Senator Elizabeth Warren accused the Trump administration of trying to turn off the CFPB in favor of the Musk “X Money” payment platform.

She said, “CFPB is present to ensure that the new Elon Musk project cannot give you and steal your personal data,” adding that this is the reason why Musk is following the agency.
