Switch – MLK Day, Trump Inauguration Collision

President-elect Trump on Monday became only the third president to be sworn in on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The collision of the two events has put members of the civil rights community on edge, in part because of Trump’s history of inflammatory comments.

In this episode of The Switch Up, Martin Luther King III — son of the late civil rights leader — and his wife Arndrea Waters King share how they are keeping the legacy of King’s dream alive.

Reverend Al Sharpton also announced a “peaceful” boycott of Washington in the style of MLK Jr.
