The Senate is the final vote on Pesent’s nomination to lead the Treasury
On Saturday, the Senate voted in favor of Scott Beesant’s nomination to become the next treasury minister, which puts it in the list of candidates to confirm on Monday.
Senate members voted with a majority of 67 votes to 23 to start the final clip on Bessent’s nomination. The final vote will take place on Monday evening at 5:30 pm
Pisent previously made the Senate Finance Committee by 16 votes to 11 votes. Senator Mark Warner (Democrat from Virginia) and Maji Hassan (democracy from the state of Hampton) were the only Democrats who exceeded party lines in the committee’s outcome.
If the appointment of Pesent is confirmed, he will be the first gay ministerial official in public in the republic of the Republic to obtain the approval of the Senate.
It is widely expected that the director of the hedge fund and the billionaire investor will play a major role in President Trump’s campaign and Republican in the Senate to extend the tax reductions that were enacted during the first period of Trump and the implementation of customs tariffs.
It will also be seen while Trump and Congress increases the roof of debt and financing the next government in the coming weeks and months.
Pesent’s vote came during a rare session at the weekend, and members of the Senate confirmed immediately that Christie Naim will take over the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Security with the support of the two parties.
After Pesent’s expected confirmation on Monday, the Senate will turn his attention to the confirmation of the appointment of former MP Sean Davi (Republican of Wisconsin) as Minister of Transport.
