The legislator proposes the Republican Party to rename “Red, White and Blaleland” Greenland “

Representative Buddy Carter (R-GA) presented a new bill this week with the aim of naming Greenland to “Red, White, and Bluland”, where President Trump seeks to obtain the island region.

The legislation, called “Red, White, and Bluelland for 2025”, directs the internal secretary Doug Burgum to oversee the implementation of the name change and to ensure referring to official documents and maps to Greenland in its updated name.

Trump’s legislation also declares negotiations with Denmark “to buy or get Greenland in another way.”

Carter said in a statement on Tuesday, after submitting the legislation: “America has returned and will soon be more than ever with the addition of Red, White and Bluelland,” Carter said in a statement on Tuesday.

He added: “President Trump correctly identified the purchase of what is now known to be Greenland as a priority for national security, and we will proudly welcome its members to join the free nation to exist at all when we disappoint the negotiators of this huge deal.”

Trump has repeatedly expressed his interest in buying Greenland, a semi -independent country under Denmark. He has argued that the United States, which takes over the Arctic Island, is necessary for national security purposes.

During his inauguration speech, Trump referred to the United States as a growing country that expanded its territory. He also called on the United States to restore the Panama channel and meditate on the annexation of Canada.

Greenland and Denmark categorically resisted Trump’s push to get the country.

“We do not want to be Danish,” said Prime Minister Greenland Matthew in Fox News. “We don’t even want to be Americans. We want to be Greenland.”

Danish Prime Minister Metty Frederksen also insisted that Greenland is not for sale and that it is up to her decision on her independence.
