Doge prepares the Tax Authority, and SEC accounts on X
The Ministry of Governmental efficiency (DOGE) has established X accounts for internal revenue service (IRS) and the Securities and Stock Exchange Committee (SEC), and requires “visions on finding and repairing waste, fraud and ill -treatment” in the two clients.
Elon Musk, who leads Dog’s efforts to reduce trillion dollars in government spending, was redeployed from both accounts on Monday.
The new X accounts come because the DOGE team seeks to reach the Sensitive Tax Authority system, known as the IDRS, which the agency uses to access taxpayers accounts.
Two senior Democrats wrote, Sens. Ron Wydeen (D-Or.) And Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass about potential privacy violations.
They wrote: “There is no executive order that requires the agency’s heads to provide the access of DOGE employees to the tax authority records or information technology systems in the federal tax law.”
“The software engineers who work for Musk are not entitled to access to tax declaration information, that is, the right to raise the taxpayer data and send these data to any other part of the federal government and may penetrate the law if they do so,” “Senators members” continued.
Since the Doge team has moved from one agency to another on the task of reducing costs, it has sought a lot to reach technological infrastructure, which raised concerns about the privacy of data and security.
At the end of last month, Duwaij staff clashed with the Treasury official for a long time, David Liberate, as they sought to reach a sensitive federal payment system in the agency. Liberalic, who held the position of Acting Treasury before the confirmation of Scott Bessin, was placed on vacation and resigned.
Two DOGE employees, Technology Executive Director Tom Kraos and Marco Eliz, 25, have received access to the system known as the financial service, which deals with 90 percent of federal payments.
While it was supposed to reach the arrival of the reading only, the Elez “accidentally” received reading and reaching a short period in early February, as it revealed the last court file. However, Elez did not use writing privileges to make any changes to the system, as the cabinet official wrote in a court advertisement.
Eliz resigned shortly after the Wall Street Journal restarted several racist social media publications he made from a loaded account now.
