Pfizer The former drug chief is hired as a higher doctor

The company announced on Monday that the former head of the Food and Drug Administration Department (FDA) joins Pfizer as head of its medical officials.

Patrizia Cavazzoni was previously director of the FDA for evaluation and research of drugs (CDER) from 2020 to January, when she resigned before President Trump returned to his position.

Cavazzoni previously worked in Pfizer before joining FDA in 2018.

This announcement motivated renewed criticism about the joint “dizziness door” between the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Critics are concerned that the close relationship leads to a supporter and favoritism towards the industry.

Robert Calif, who held the position of Food and Drug Administration Commissioner during the era of President Obama, left the agency to advise Google Health and Spinoff, Verily Life Sciences. The move obtained criticism and opposition from some Democrats in the Senate, such as Senator Elizabeth Warren (MAS) when President Biden nominated him in the same job.

Calif eventually provided moral privileges to Warren to secure their voting, including a pledge not to request work or compensation from any medical devices or medical tools that he interacted with as a four -year commissioner after he stepped down.

Scott Gottlieb, FDA Commissioner during Trump’s first term, now works on PFIZER Board of Directors.

The Minister of Health and Humanitarian Services (HHS) accused Robert F. Kennedy Junior has long been the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that it is corrupt and metaphor for the impact of the industry and has pledged to clarify the assumed conflicts of interests throughout the agency.

Immediately before the elections, while Trump was thinking about HHS secretary, Kennedy posted on social media that the FDA staff “part of this corrupt system” should “pack their bags.”

International Energy Agency Group is the public citizen who hired Cavazoni.

“Cavasoni’s step shows that the roaming door between the FDA) and the industries organized by alive and in good health and are not continuing to undermine the credibility of the Food and Drug Administration as a public health agency,” said Robert Steinbrok, director of the organization’s health research collection in a statement.
