Pelosi explodes Trump from a “shameful offer” at the Zelinski meeting: “Putin must be overwhelming happiness”
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (extending California) criticized President Trump for his “shameful offer” during a Friday meeting with Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinsky at the White House, claiming that Russian President Vladimir Putin “should be happy” with his result.
Pelosi said at a staff on Friday at X. Putin should be overwhelmed with today’s plays.
“In the wake of the American vote in compliance with Russia at the United Nations this week, a disturbing pattern that contradicted America’s long support for democracy all over the world appeared,” said Pelosi, a Trump audio critic on Friday.
The Friday meeting between Trump and Zelinski was initially friendly, but he quickly went out of his path. The President and Vice President Vans accused the leader of the War time of being unlikely to help the United States provided to Ukraine and said he lacks great influence in negotiations for the peace agreement.
Zelensky questioned Vans’s claim that an agreement with Putin could be concluded to end a three -year war in Eastern Europe.
Then the President of Ukraine referred to Putin’s refusal to exchange prisoners, the ongoing attack on Ukrainian lands and return to the previous ceasefire.
“I think it is respectful to come to the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media,” Vans told Zelensky. “At the present time, comrades wander around and force the recruits on the front lines because you have problems in the workforce, you should thank the president for trying to put an end to his struggle.”
Kiev’s leader then warned that the United States did not feel the destruction of the conflict in Eastern Europe due to the distance, but he said this might change in the future, a response that ignited a strong refute from the American president.
Trump said on Friday: “Do not tell us what we will feel because you are not in a position … to dictate what we will feel,” Trump said on Friday. “We’ll feel very good and strong. You are now, not in a very good position.”
Then Trump stated that Ukraine does not have “cards now. With us, you start getting cards,” adding that the president of time is “gambling with the lives of millions of people, you stick to the gambling with the Third World War … and what you do is very unresolved for the country, this country, which has supported you more than many people said they must have them.”
After the meeting, Trump said that Zelinski was not ready to conclude a peace deal.
“It is amazing what comes out through emotion, and decided that President Zelinski is not ready for peace if America is involved, because he feels that our participation gives him a great advantage in negotiations,” Trump wrote on Friday on the social truth after the meeting. “I don’t want an advantage, I want peace. He does not respect the United States of America in its dear oval office. It can return when he is ready for peace.”
Zelinski, who left the White House after the controversial gathering, thanked Trump for meeting at the White House and repeated that Ukraine “needs a permanent and durable peace, and we are working exactly on that.”
