Cassidy RFK JR’s Vaccine Advisory Panel calls to suspend the meeting
Sen Bill Cassidy (R-La.) Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy called for a federal vaccine advisory panel to delay this week’s meeting, citing concern about the lack of experience and potential bias towards the vaccine.
“Wednesday’s meeting should not go ahead with a relatively small panel, and the panel recommendations have no CDC director for approval,” Casid wrote in a post on X -X Monday evening.
He mentioned that members of the disease control and resistance center did not have a significant experience in studying for the vaccination of the vaccination, “Microbiology, epidemiology or immunology” and some may have a prejudice against MRNA vaccines “against them.
He presented the most powerful statement about Kennedy or his activities till today, though he did not mention the secretary by name. Despite being publicly upset about Cassidy Kennedy, and despite his strong criticism of the vaccines, Kennedy voted for confirming.
Kennedy dismissed the entire 17 -member ACP panel less than two weeks ago, to argue a “clean sweep” interest conflict and to help help restore vaccination and public health.
The move was an unprecedented growth in Kennedy’s search for the country’s vaccine policy, and apparently Cassidy said that he ignored a key promise that he had lifted from an anti-vaccine activist.
He then appointed eight new members, most of whom are vocal vaccine critics.
If the meeting was not delayed, the Cassidy said the panel’s recommendations “can be seen with doubt, which will work against the success of this administration’s efforts.”
The two -day meeting began on Wednesday. The agenda section includes a vote on discussions and themerosol related recommendations, a vaccine material is incorrectly associated with autism that Kennedy has long been banned.
