The Republican Party is going through the Republican Party with the first funding of the Finance of 2026

Republicans in the House of Representatives cleared the first financing bill in the fiscal year 2026 on Wednesday, approved more than $ 450 billion to fund the Ministry of Old Warriors Affairs (VA), military construction and other programs.

The House of Representatives mostly voted on party lines on Wednesday afternoon to agree to the financing plan, with only two Democratic lawmakers, actors Jared Golden (Maine) and Mary Glooskamb Perez (Wash), and joins Republicans in supporting the legislation.

On Wednesday, the Speaker of Parliament Tom Cole described the draft law as “veteran health care and benefits, which represents augmented investment during President Trump’s era.”

“It enhances the quality of life for the forces and their loved ones through housing and child care,” he said. “It emphasizes our commitment to peace through strength by providing basic infrastructure efforts and preparation.”

However, the Democrats expressed a strong opposition to the financing plan.

On Wednesday, Representative Rosa Deloro (Kon), the best democratic in the Credit Committee in the House of Representatives, said on Wednesday that the draft law will transfer “billions of taxpayers dollars to hospitals and private clinics, which leads to longer waiting times, poor communication and coordination, and a diminishing quality of care for old warriors, and the high costs of taxpayers.”

“This is a step towards privatizing the Ministry of Old Warriors Affairs. Because if you do the VA cavity, if you make it impossible for people to be able to reach their advantages, they will say,” Well, we cannot trust VA. “They will move in the direction of privatization, and here this administration wants to go.”

The draft law calls for about $ 152 billion of estimated financing for the fiscal year 2026, which represents an increase of 3 percent compared to the current levels. In general, the bill will provide about $ 453 billion for VA, including $ 300 billion for mandatory programs.

Among the increases highlighted by the Republicans in this measure, enhance VA, military construction and family housing, as well as financing the new displacement program. On the other hand, the Democrats wandered the plan and nurtured the Republicans for not including the advanced funding of the toxic exposure fund in the proposal, which also said that less than a billion dollars of funding for military construction.

Senior Republican dedications acknowledged that there are other possible changes during the annual process because they are waiting for more information from the Trump administration about the president’s vision of government financing in 2026 and beyond.

So far, the Republican Party’s dedications have agreed to a third of their financing bills in the fiscal year 2026, where senior Republicans presses all bills from the committee before the August holiday.
