A man accused of chasing Ketlin Clark gets more than two years in prison
A 55 -year -old man was sentenced to two and a half years in prison after he admitted that he was guilty of chasing and harassing Indiana Ketlin Clark.
Michael Lewis from Denton, Texas, reached an agreement with Marion County, Indiana, and prosecutors before they confessed to guilt on Monday to one felony of prosecution and one misdemeanor of harassment.
Lewis will get a 197 -day credit that has already served him behind bars since his arrest in January. He claimed that Clark Clark, 22, sent hundreds of “sexual threats and sexual messages” on social media between December 12 and January 11.
Days before his arrest, Louis told the police who were examining the luxury of the Indianapolis Hotel room that he was in a “fake relationship”. He continued sending a message to the Wnba star after the police visit.
“This decision guarantees that the defendant is responsible for his threatening actions, the fear that he planted, and the obstruction he caused,” said Marion Ryan Maires Provincial Prosecutor on Monday in a statement. “… the victim will be able to get peace of mind with a focus on what matters to her.”
As part of the ruling, Lewis was ordered not to contact Clarak and stay away from Gainbridge and Hinkle places in Indiana, as well as all events associated with fever or Indiana Pesrez. It is also not allowed to access the Internet while spending his punishment.
Judge Angela Dow Davis also recommended that Lewis ask for mental health. According to WTHR-TV in Indianapolis, Davis had often stopped and correct the behavior of Lewis, who predicted at the time of the end of the world.
It was a similar behavior when the court appeared for the first time after his arrest earlier this year. Davis has repeatedly told him to “stop talking” because he continued to boycott the procedures.
