As the Minister of Labor, he will put Chavez-Derimer the firefighters first
The main cause of death between firefighters may surprise you.
Most people assume that they are accidents on the ground of fire (i.e. actually number three) or cardiovascular events (two). But the greatest danger we face is professional cancer.
Research conducted by the National Institute of Occupational Health and Safety shows that firefighters have a 14 percent higher risk of death from cancer from the general population in the United States. This is not just a threat to our health – it is a real and immediate danger to the integrity of the societies that we divide on protection.
Politicians from both parties prompted the same tired talk about the public safety for decades. But not former MP Lori Chavez-Dremer (R-ERE). President Trump’s candidate for his Minister of Labor has a record of priority for the proper sense of the protection of firefighters and building a stronger nation.
Chavez-Termid has always defended the health and welfare of firefighters in America and medical emergency workers. In Congress, people placed politics and arrived across the corridor as a major sponsorship of the PFAs alternative law. This critical legislation aims to develop the next generation, and free protection equipment for firefighters. Our mission is dangerous enough without intentionally adding cancer to our equipment. The draft law – which also received industry support – will put firefighters at the center of this research. After all, the equipment that we rely on must be designed in order to stay by us by the user.
Chavez -Dermer with the shoulder with the first respondents on countless other issues, has stood from expanding the benefits of death and financing public safety to the abolition of harmful social security discounts for retired public employees. Like President Trump, Chavez-Derimer is proud to support the heroes of our hometown.
As Minister of Labor, Chavez-Derimer will end to end the criteria for responding to emergency situations-the first federal safety improvement in the workplace of firefighters for more than 40 years. We do not need to look further than California’s fires to understand the importance of ensuring that they have enough cities and towns who are properly trained, equipped and healthy to do this task. The standard of response to emergency situations will prevent us from accepting the tragedies that can be avoided otherwise, which achieves Trump’s goal is to make America stronger and more prosperous.
As a former member of the city, a mayor and a member of Congress, Chavez-Tremer realizes that public safety challenges can have long-term consequences. I fought to give federal firefighters the wage and support they deserve. When cities and towns are fighting at the country level, the Fintanel epidemic, has pushed stronger enforcement to limit the flow of the drug to our country and expand resources for firefighters and paramedics who respond to excessive overalls. Chavez-DEREMER realizes that these crises threaten the American public, strive for local resources and endanger our economy if left without deterrence.
More importantly, Chavez-Derimer is not a professional politician. She and her husband built a small successful company from A to Z. It understands the demands and pressure of a company management. This realistic experience gives it the necessary perspective to achieve a balance between the priorities of both businesses, labor-increasing wages and lower lines. It knows that the real cooperation between employers and workers is the way to implement President Trump’s bold vision to defend the American middle class.
President Trump won these elections because he pledged to put America first. Chavez-Dyerimer’s nomination shows that he is serious about fulfilling this promise. I have seen closely how you are not afraid to challenge the institution or allow politics to hinder what is true. Chavez-Tremid says what it means and means what you say, and this is exactly the type of the person we need to lead the Ministry of Labor. I have no doubt that she will get the back of firefighters and all American workers as President Trump’s vision of our economy advanced.
