The Associated Press reported that Canada is preparing for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who will follow the leader of the liberal party who has led our neighbor to the north since the Obama administration.
The change in leadership will come amid the relations of a group from the United States and Canada on President Trump’s tariff targeting Canada. Last week, the Trump administration imposed a 25 percent tariff on most imports from Canada and Mexico.

Craysta Freeland
Tritissia Frieland, former Deputy Prime Minister of Canada, to run for the Trudeau seat.
Freelland has a background in the press, which was previously working in outlets including Financial Times and Reuters, according to the New York Times. In December, she retracted the Cabinet in Trudeau, where Frieland indicated that the fiscal policy varied behind her resignation, according to the Washington Post.
