The Exter Blackpool led 2-1 at home during the first half in St. James Park.

But in the closing stages before the first half, the referee stopped playing.

Supporter at a distant end needs treatment.

So officials have briefly suspended the players before returning to continue the match.

Tweet Exter at 3.41 pm: “38 | A break in playing is treated as a medical accident at the end.”

Then they added: “40 | We have returned.”
