ITB BERLIN 2020 will not happen

Berlin, February 28, 2020 – ITB Berlin 2020 will not happen. Due to the rapid spread of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19), the Federal Ministry of Health and the Federal Ministry of Economy said that ITB Berlin would be abolished. This evening, in 1827, the responsible County Health Authority Charlotenburg-Wilmersdorf in Berlin imposed much tougher restrictions on the event. Among their demands, the authorities stated that each participant should be proved by Berlin that they were not at the assigned risk zone or did not contact a person or persons from the risk zone. Berlin’s place is impossible to meet these requirements as a whole.
