King Kyiv’s madness: Why can Zelinski end the war
Not so long ago, Volodymyr Zelensky was comedy in Ukraine. He made his livelihood play a fictional president on TV. Then, through a development of fate, it has become the real thing. Before he had time to adapt to the role, history threw it on the stage in the world, which led to his exit from an average artist to an international code of resistance.
Overnight, the media turned him into the embodiment of courage, Churchill Kiev, the man who refused to flee, and the warrior stands against tyranny. But what if this novel is completely wrong? What if Zelinski, instead of the hero in this story, is in fact the man who will not allow the war to end – not for the sake of his people, but because peace means his fall?
A good leader gives priority to his mother’s survival. He knows when to fight, and most importantly, he knows when to negotiate. However, Zelensky explained that his strength depends on war and war alone.
It is not a coincidence that with the exacerbation of the battlefield horizons in Ukraine, as the soldiers are a defect, as forced recruitment in something like kidnapping, Zelensky again extended martial rulings. No elections. No peace talks. No escape. Because if the war ends, then his presidency is. This, more than anything, explains why the war should continue.
The main media – especially in the West – does not allow the nuances. The world should be simple: Putin is the wicked, Zelinski is the hero. This is the frame. This is the text. Anything outside this duo is “pro -Russia’s propaganda.” However, reality is not a comic book; It is not Marvel. Zelensky is not a soldier in the saint defending democracy. In fact, Ukraine barely resembles democracy at all.
Since Russia’s invasion in 2022, Zelinski has banned many opposition parties, and has banned some media and elections to postpone them with the justification that voting in wartime was “impossible.” Who is impossible for who? For soldiers in trenches, or for civilians who now live in unlimited martial martial rulings?
Ukraine is in a desperate position. Country losses are disastrous. The workforce works, and for this reason Zelinski resorted to chasing men in the streets. There are countless reports on Ukrainian men who were dragged from cafes and night clubs and threw trucks like criminals.
Military law means that there is no way out. You cannot leave the country. You cannot refuse. This is not a confident government sign. This is the behavior of a desperate system that tries to collect itself by force.
However, the war must continue. This is the only thing that keeps Zelensky in power. If it is connected to the elections, it is likely to lose. Support for him falls. The more clearly this, the more clearly, can win Ukraine – and not in any sense. This is not in 2022. Optimistic about the first months, when the world believes that Ukraine may push Russia back. Even the United States, the largest supporter in Ukraine, demanded slowly support, as the families of Washington admitted that the Ukrainian total victory is no longer the goal.
Zelensky epic is not new. History is full of leaders who refused to give up, and to cling to power even with their countries over them. There was Napoleon Bonaparte, who, after France’s leadership of a catastrophe in Russia, had been unavoidable. Instead, he chose more war, and pulled his exhausted nation to the spark of other blood before his final exile.
Recently, Saddam Hussein adhered to dictatorship after a long period of beating because of the sanctions and conflict, and a destroyed country was sentenced to abandoning control. Muammar Gaddafi could have asked for asylum and saving Libya from a bloody collapse, but the ego demanded that he fight to the bitter end, which he left in the end to be dragged into the street and executed. Robert Mugabe Zimbabwe looted while his people were starving, and his rule extends for decades until his party could no longer carry the debris.
Zelensky joins a long series of leaders who give their luxury over the welfare of their countries. This represents a satisfactory form of selfishness, as self -preservation comes at any cost, even if this means that thousands of women and children will die. They will do. Ukraine is fed into the meat mill. However, on the contrary, the illusion must be preserved.
The media, which is compatible with ever, helps to sell an invincible Zelensky imagination, Ukraine that is not broken, and the noble battle for democracy. It is a clean and simple story, easy to digest, and easy to justify. Other weapons charge. Another help pack. Another extension of the catastrophic conflict that should have ended long ago.
But the objective reality is not concerned with emotionally charged novels. The weather is cold. It is brutal. The difficult truth is: Ukraine loses, and Zelinski makes sure that it continues to lose.
The rational leader will see writing on the wall, confronting the inevitable, and choosing the painful option, but it is necessary to negotiate – to save what remains instead of reducing the nation to the ash. But Zelinski chose a different path, often men were drunk on power and blind people. Therefore, Ukraine will bleed – so that there is no blood to be shrouded.
