The Ministry of Justice is an investigation of anti -Semitism claims against the University of California



On Wednesday, the Ministry of Justice announced an investigation of civil rights in allegations of anti -Semitism at the University of California.

According to a press release, the administration, on the basis of the seventh section of the Civil Rights Law, will verify whether the university participates “in a pattern or practice to discriminate on the basis of race, religion and national origin against” allowing “an anti -Semitic work environment to the presence” in the system schools.

Earlier this week, the Trump administration announced that it is reviewing contracts and scholarships related to the University of Colombia due to allegations of anti -Semitism against the school.

The Ministry of Health, Humanitarian Services, Public Services and the Ministry of Education said in a statement that the review was caused by the continued “failure to work in the face of Jewish students.”

The President also threatened to end funding for any universities that allow “illegal protests” in response to the war in Gaza.

Last year, a group of protests in support of the Palestinians erupted on the campus of universities throughout the country amid Israeli -Palestinian tensions, with the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Colombia, which acquired the country’s attention.
