Warner, Scott Spar on the arrival of the Doug Treasury

Sens. Mark Warner (D-VA) and Tim Scott (RS.C) on Wednesday on Elon Musk and his allies in the Ministry of Governmental efficiency (DOGE) for access to a sensitive federal payment system in the Treasury.

Warner pressed Scott on Tuesday if he knows the state of clearance and security for individuals working in the treasury system.

Scott suggested that there were similar questions that were under previous management.

“Under the Biden Administration, we had no idea about doing what he was doing most of the time,” he said.
